Check me out...

A Very Touching Email...

I received this email today from my sister, and I thought i'd share it with all of you as it's a very touching story.
Who know if it's true or juts a made up case but in any case it really spoke to me...should just strong human compassion that’s rarely exists with children these days...have a look and i dare you not to have a tear in your eye at the end!

Two Choices

What would you do?....you make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway.

My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:
'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.
Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.
Where is the natural order of things in my son?'

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.'

Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?' I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.

In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again.

Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat. At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The game would now be over.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.

Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates.

Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, 'Shay, run to first!

Run to first!'

Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base.

He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, 'Run to second, run to second!'

Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.

B y the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball . the smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.

Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.

All were screaming, 'Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay'

Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, 'Run to third!

'Shay, run to third!'

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, 'Shay, run home! Run home!'

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team

'That day', said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, 'the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world'.

Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!

Where in the World have you been?

Sorry bloggers, I've been MIA for a few weeks been busy as a beaver!

I have always thought I’d been to quite a few places and see a lot of the world, but according to this map below I’ve only seen 7% of the world visited and would like to visit 5% . I'm sure that’s more than a lot of people but I always rated my travel experience as high...but apparently not!

This map was kind of fun to do! It's pretty cool to see where you've been and where you are going mapped out in front of you! The Blue show's where I've been, the Red where I've lived and the Green where I want to go!Take a turn yourself!

I understand that it's a fitness thing and it's better for your feet but it looks horrible.

Clearly there mothers never told them the simple little rule that "Every days a Fashion Show"

I Whip My Hair!

As I was trolling through one of my favourite blogs the other week when I came across Willow Smiths - daughter of Will Smith- new song and video Whip My Hair.

It's a cute song and has a great beat, I can't get it outta my head.

But wait a second isn't she 9...when i was 9 I was still playing with my Barbies. (Ok so my dad wasn't famous and all but still) Don't get me wrong I love a good magazine special on the Hollywood kiddies as the next person but are these Hollywood tots growing up far to fast.

Suri Cruise only last week spent a reportedly $1300 on makeup. And has a wardrobe that would be a lot more than many of us will make in a life time! And she's 4 and wears high-heels! Jealous much? I am!

(I hope I get to take a photo just like this when I'm in Disneyland!)

Apparently the Joile-Pitt clan, are allowed to do what ever they like swear, eat junk and Maddox 9 drinks wine and drives the car around the property. These are claims from a money hungry nanny so who know if there true.

I struggled to find a photos of the modern Brady Bunch all together!

Kingston gotta be one of the coolest kiddies going around!

Apple and Moses soo cute!!

What do you think, is this the new Hollywood Brat Pack?

Shoes, Shoes and more Shoes!!

I had a pretty big Saturday night this past weekend, it was very fun indeed! But it got me thinking about what us girls put ourselves through on a night out! I may have had one too many drinks, but surprisingly was ok in the morning! But it wasn't until today that I woke today with an excruciating pain in my ankle - I unfortunately have a bad case of weak ankles from the years or Netball and the once unfortunate high jump experience when I was way to tall for the small mat- that I remember rolling it when i got out of the club and was looking for a taxi.

I know we've all heard it before that high heels are causing us women foot deformities, sciatic nerve pain, knee pain, herniated discs and a range of other crippling maladies. But why am I telling you this…just have a look at the video below.

I'm not going to lie i'll still wear high heels just maybe with more caution now! And not till my ankles better!!

Ps. I always think it's pretty funny when I see girl young and old who buy these ridiculously high heels and then can't walk in them! It makes me laugh; I have a friend who does it all the time. She may as well wear flats because she looks ridiculous when she can't walk in her shoes! :P

Nail design

I'm in love with this new nail polish colour i got from Sportsgirl last week for 3 bucks! I got there gorgeous little nail art flowers to i'm in love.

Is Miley Cyrus' new video too raunchy?

Miley Cyrus

Miley at it again, her new music video for 'Who Owns My Heart' has landed her in hot water.

Ok so in the video, she rolls around on a bed in skimpy lingerie before riding to a nightclub in a limousine wearing a pair of very tiny short-shorts.

I love Miley and I’m not embarrassed to say it, I love her poppy vibe and her borderline edgy videos clips.

Why is everyone giving Miley crap, sure she was once the innocent little Hannah Montana but she’s growing up isn’t it about time people let her!

I these people, who complain about her “raunchy” videos, need to get a life, and grow up!

What about Britney and Christina, they’ve all been there!

I say leave the girl alone and get back to your own lives and stop picking on the lives of those you have no control over!!

Rock it Miley!!!

Take a look for yourself...

Whats in my beauty bag...

I've decided to add a new section to my blog, each Wednesday i'll be telling you about products I’ve used. The reviews will be straight from my gorgeous Louis Vuitton make up box to you!

To start us off, straight from my make up-box, this week i'm loving my Garnier Youthful Radiance UV Protect SPF15 face moisturiser.

I got this little beauty from the Flower and Garden show at the Garnier tent, so bonus it was free! It normally RRP for about $16.00.

I find the lotion quite lightweight, you only need one pump of the bottle, it rubs in easily and it doesn't leave my skin looking oily.

It helps to keep my skin hydrate through out the day. I love it how it has a SPF 15 perfect for the whole year round!

While reading the back of the bottle it said it helps to reduce the signs of sun damage such as fine lines, uneven skin tone and sun spots, now we could all use a little of that!

Let the race begin!

With the racing season fast approaching. Actaully the Caulfield Cup is kicking of the Spring Carnival of this weekend.

I came across this song and thought it was rather appropriate for this time of year!

Take a look! It's sung by AJ Michalka from Aly & AJ fame!

Oxygen Bars

Peppermint, bayberry, cranberry, wintergreen. Candy? Lollipops? You ask no these are "flavours" of oxygen offered at your local oxygen bar.

Have you guys seen these, I’ve never really heard about them before until I stumbled across this photo of my gorgeous friends, at a London club hooked up to the thing. They look like gorgeous models hooked up to an IV. My friend tells me its "Its sooo much fun! Getting high without alcohol lol"

Rumour has it that oxygen bars were introduced in the USA in the late 1990s, the trend has caught on, and customers are bellying up to bars around the country to sniff oxygen through a plastic hose.

For about a dollar a minute, enthusiasts inhale 95 percent oxygen and report that it relieves a variety of maladies from hangovers to headaches.

So next time your at your local bar ask if they have an Oxygen bar to try!

Vaseline - Lip Therapy VS. Blistex - Lip Conditioner

Which one is better for my lips, I tend to use both which ever one my fingers glide across first in the bottom of my bag is the one I choose. But which one is really better for my lips. I've been told that people’s lips get dependant on Blistex, is this true?
  VS.

I’ve done a little comparison between the two. I think I prefer the Vaseline - Lip Therapy better, it glides on easily and doesn't make my lips feel dry still! While with the Blistex - Lip Conditioner my lips still feel rough and dry, like there still craving moisture! The only plus I've found with Blistex is its SPF 20 while my Vaseline is only SPF 15! In summers that extra SPF 5 really helps!

I also use Luca's Papaw Ointment, but have unfortunately run out at the moments, but this one has no SPF so it's not great for the summer! The thing I love about it though is it's great for other things like stings and bites. While travelling around Italy, I went to Venice and we are staying at a water side hotel and the mossies were horrid, I normally don't get bitten by their Aussie cousins but these guys just loved my blood (Vampires I tell you)!

After trying all the different bite creams, from all over the world, I was on to my last resort and pulled out the tube of Luca's Papaw to put on my chapped lips, that’s when I read the back and it said for bites so I thought I’d try it out, so I dabbed some onto the bites, amazing instant relief!

I would highly recommend it!

The first burn...oh the summer!

I was away all weekend; down along the coast if you read my previous blog you already know this.

Well it was a fabulous weekend, a few low points but all up a good weekend. Which brings me to my next point, on the Sunday, Meggles and I decided to go down to the beach before driving home to get over our drunken state! This was all fun and games and it was amazing down by the water it was the most amazing weather the perfect summers day -only it was spring-, we laid about, brought some $4 buckets and spade and made some, let me rephrase that I made some sand castles and Meggles made piles of sand!

By about 4 we decided to head home, which was when the trouble began. I got we got back into the car to find we were both as red a lobsters! Just great!

I'm not quite that red!

I'm still burning! I've been dousing myself in Vitamin E cream to help keep my skin moist! This gave me a great idea for a blog home sun burn remedies!

Here are some other ideas I’ve read about to cure the sting of sun burn.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR BATH

For large sunburned areas, an apple cider vinegar bath works wonders. Use a brand from the health food store that has been wood-aged, rather than one from the supermarket that may have been chemically-aged. Apple cider vinegar helps to balance the skin’s pH factor, its acid/alkaline balance. As with all parts of the body, when there is chemical balance, healing is supported.
 Add two cups apple cider vinegar to a bathtub of warm water.
 Let your child soak for 15 minutes. The skin will be calmed and soothed, and much of the pain will be immediately relieved.
 After the bath, you can use one of the remedies described below to promote further healing.

YOGURT SKIN HEALER
Though it may not have all of us living to 120 (remember those Russian peasant ads of several years back?), yogurt is a natural healer. It is the antidote for the burn of hot, spicy food in Indian cooking by re-establishing acid/alkaline balance and works the same way for sunburned skin. For sunburn, I use compresses of natural yogurt to help cool and hydrate the skin.
 Wrap whole-milk, full-fat, plain yogurt in several layers of cheesecloth and compress the burn.
 Replace with fresh compresses as the yogurt warms on the skin.
 Repeat compresses until the skin is cooled and soothed.
 Yogurt can be spread over the entire body--turning an upsetting, painful sunburn into a fun spa treatment that girls, especially, will love. (And boys, too: my son Brian has always enjoyed our herbal “spa treatments”.) Leave the yogurt on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse off in a cool shower.

My friend Jay-Jay swears by this method!

BAKING SODA SUNBURN SOOTHER
No apple cider vinegar or plain yogurt in the house? Then check the deepest recess of your refrigerator for that box of baking soda you stashed there eons ago (hopefully, not too many eons--to effectively deodorize your fridge, baking soda should be changed about every 3 months). Like apple cider vinegar and yogurt, baking soda helps to balance pH, the skin’s acid/alkaline balance.
 Add ¼ cup baking soda to a warm bath for an effective sunburn-healing soak.
 Have your child soak for 15 minutes.

This one sounds like it might hurt!!

Stright out of my own makeup bag I would recommend this product as my fail safe sunburn healer!

Le Tan Iced Green Tea After Sun Mist Spray 250mL
Its Le Tan-Iced Green Tea After Sun Mist Spray with Aloe Vera. It smells a little odd but it's a miracle worker. I'm running low and need too stock up for summer! Keep in the fridge for instant cooling relief on a hot day.

Have you tried any of these or have something else..

I'm Stealing the Sun!!

I love how as soon as the sun comes out people just flock to outdoors, the city so lively and fun! It makes me smile! I'm so excited for summer; take it from someone who had a year full of winter’s nothings better than the summer sun!

I'm lucky enough to have picked the first awesome spring weekend to go on a little roundtrip with my friend Meggles down to the Sorrento Beach, I'm so very excited.

I seriously just love this sun, I want to steal it and keep it in my pocket!!

Ps. Thanks Sarah -Gen Y Journo- for selecting me for the Stylish Blogger Award, i'll blog about it tomorrow when i'm back from the beach!

Adios Amigos...enjoy the sun!!

Who Will Win...Game On!

Its been a week full of AFL,  James Hird has been enlisted to raise the Bomber back to the top. Gary Ablett will be sunning him self on the 'Gold' Coast and Mark Thompson is searching for, well no one really knows.

All this and the season most important game has yet to be decided. It's histroy is in the making who will win the Grand Final Replay tomorrow??

St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt (left) and Collingwood skipper Nick Maxwell (right) hold the premiership cup aloft at the 2010 AFL grand final parade in Melbourne on September 24, 2010. (ABC News: Anthony Stewart)
I go for neither team but I would like to see St. Kilda take the flag! Not a huge Collingwood fan, actually I don't think anyones a huge fan unless you're a Collingwood supporter! Australia vs. Collingwood! :p

I heard a funny joke the other day...if you're a Collingwood supporter turn away now!
Collingwood supporters can't read and write but they can draw! Haha!

Random Thoughts

• Nothings worse than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong. (Trust me this doesn't happen all too often!)

• I hate it when your walking down a street and then you realise you were meant to be going the other way, so instead of turning around and risk looking like a freak switching directions mid step, you have to stop and make a fuss somehow by either checking your phone, watch or any other electronic device you may be holding -in which cases if it's a GPS, take it back! - So that the strangers you're never going to see again don't think you’re weird!

Lipton Iced Tea Commerical

I love this ad, my sister asked me to watch it the other day and I just love it!

It makes me feel happy!

The music’s upbeat, the stars gorgeous, Hugh Jackman need I say more.

I couldn't tell you what it was selling, if I hadn't watched it a few times. But it is indeed an ad for Lipton Iced Tea.

Take a look!

When Life Gives You Lemons

Just a quick post tonight...

I had a very stressful day at work, which meant I spent the day chewing my nail polish off. To my delight my nails had turned a lovely shade of nicotine-yellow!

Just some extra fun to add to my already amazing day!

So I goggled some of the solutions to fix this charming little problem, most of the websites, said just to wait it out but eww...my hands look like I smoke a pack or 2 a day so no thanks.

I also read I should try soaking my fingers in bleach and water, and then scrubbing them with whitening toothpaste. I was thinking about trying this but was a little afraid the bleach might hurt my nails.

Then I found someone else in the same little pickle, their friend had suggested lemon juice -I tried this safer than the bleach solution- and holy-moly it worked a treat!

Nice new normal colour nails! Yay!

D.O.B...Doesn't stand for DATE OF BIRTH!

All through my childhood year of school we had one very important lesson drilled into us.

D.O.B: Don't Obey Bullies.

I typed bully into Google and this was the most fitting definition I found!

Define Bully: Bullying is a form of abuse. It comprises repeated acts over time that involves a real or perceived imbalance of power with the more powerful individual or group abusing those who are less powerful. The power imbalance may be social power and/or physical power

Take it from someone who was bullied, at primary school for being the tall skinny girl with the big eyes. Bug or grasshopper were names very commonly used, as we got older anorexic -aren’t kids imaginative- were used in it place.

Although at the time it felt like the worse thing in the world, I feel like today I’ve got one up on those people who called me names. We've all heard the story of the ugly duckling!

But looking back on things now, it was a easier at school to deal with a bully, wasn't there always someone on your side looking out for you're best interests. Your Mummy or Daddy were able to go into school and help you out in these tricky situations or you could tell a teacher.

But what do you do when it's bullying in the work place? And you're all alone, not Mummy or Daddy to the rescure this time. You're on your own in the big wide world! Sure you say, there are other people in the office who see what’s going, they see the bully bulling. But no one wants to lose there job, to help out the poor little innocent, so we just stand by and let it happen. So now she's left to fend for herself, either to speak up to the bully or just keep on getting bullied! What does she do put up with it or say something at the risk of losing her job or the bullying continuing or getting worse.

I want to know have you been in this situation or know some one who has been bullied!

Mystic...Mysteries

Bloggers I have a question for you, has anyone ever been to a physic?

I've always been really interested in witchcraft and physic abilities -but not in a dance around nakey on a full moon interested- just interested in the magic, the unknown.

I've always liked to believe I have a little bit of Magic flowing though me!

Are these physic places believable. As interested as I am about these things, i'm also kind of scared by them, what if the physic tell me i'm going to die - that is my main fear- or that i'm going to be poor and lonely.

Can we change our destiny or are things written in stone, I always say things happen for a reason...

Does anyone know what really exists out there, I surely don't a friend of mine once put theory to me about the world, that maybe it's all made up and we were just living in his head!

Made me think what do we really know about the world and each other! Just look at the world at the moment, natural disaster after natural disaster, I swear there weren't this many 5 years ago! Or are we just more aware of it now thanks to the media?

Will 2012 be the end...

For those who don't know the 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of eschatological beliefs that cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on December 21, 2012,which is said to be the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mayan Long Count calendar. Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae related to this date have been proposed.

Because we are all beautiful!

I found this little photo today on a friend of a friend’s blog and it really spoke to me!

Its come just at the right time when I was feeling a little down and out...a bit un-loved! But this little photo has brought a smile to my face!

There's something just so simple and innocent about it!

Day 332: You are beautiful.

Because we are all beautiful in our own little way!

Relationships...we all have them!

I don't know about you guys, but I seem to have a real hard time finding someone to date so I thought I’d do a little investigating, to find out the top 5 dating mistakes people make world over.

I've had boyfriends, friend that are boys and crushes but none thus far have made it past the 6 month stage or as I like to call the Honeymoon period or Chocolate-Relationship coma – FACT: In the first 3-6 months of a relationship, you are likely running on oxytocin, which is a chemical found in chocolate!- now with a little help from the world wide web i’m going to find the mistakes we make and hopefully I’ll help my self. Stop doing the wrong thing and also help you at the same time! Win-win situation!

Lets start with the most famous of them all…the one I do constantly and is probably to blame for all my failed relationships!

 1. Game playing
  • We all play games when starting out a new relationship and this strategy is employed to protect ourselves and one’s ego form being crushed. If we are able to protect ourselves on some level from the fear of rejection, so we play it cool and try not to get involved. This may make you feel safe, but you risk coming across as aloof or remote, and may turn the other person off.
Look we all do it, I know I do an i'm very bad at it, I find one little flaw and then its game over!

 2. Obsessing over details
  • This one is common with those who worry. The worry may be a general habit, but now it is turned on the subject of the relationship: worry about what the other person said, worry about what they meant by it, worry about how you reacted, worry about the relationship not working out, worry about what if it does work out, how will your parents react…on and on. Being anxious is a mood killer, and will not make you attractive to a potential mate. But don't go worrying about that! Try to tap into your self-confidence and trust that if the relationship is meant to work out, it will.
I’m the worst at this, I over analyse every single thing a boy does, he didn’t put an xx at the end of his message his made at me, I wouldn’t go over after a night out his now not speaking to me! But enough is enough…someone wise once told me “People look into things too much. If you like talking to him then just go for it.”

3. Looking for Perfection
  • I’m not encouraging you to settle, but separating your desires from your deal-breakers can give your love life a major upgrade. “There are some qualities that your mate must have—being honest, for example—and others, such as movie-star looks, that should be thrown in the would-be-nice category,” says Elizabeth R. Lombardo, Ph.D., author of A Happy You: Your Ultimate Prescription for Happiness. “
Nobody want to date a shmuck, but maybe we have to pick at a few weeds before we find the rose! I'll be the first to say I go for looks over personality, I believe you must be attracted to the person. It's easy to say looks aren't important but you need to be attracted to the person in order to find out their personality!

4. Too Much, Too Soon

  • If you’re looking for an exclusive relationship with him, take a good hard look at whether he’s really ready for that. Exclusivity feels scary to many men, especially if they feel like you’re trying to push them toward a level of commitment that they don’t want.
Heres a little case study for you based on my life –sorry if you read this and see I’ve used you in my blog- I was seeing this guy Andrew* for a few months things were going well, I’d also been the one to take the plunge and ask him out not something I’d done before. So it was about 2 months down the track and we’d been out a handful of times when one night he got all serious and was like what’s going on, where do you see us going! I got a little freaked – normally it’s something a girl would say- and was like what aren’t we taking things slowly it we’ve only just started dating! So that made things a little awkward but we seemed to get past them, but as things progressed I stared feeling more happy with the relationship and where it was going so after about 4 months I asked about our exclusivity and got shut down in the worst way possible! I don’t think there’s ever a right time to have “the talk”.
*Names have been changed to protect identities!

5. Living In The Past

  • We all carry around some emotional pain and past hurts, but be careful about how quickly you share such personal information. You may be longing for someone to talk with, but when you go down this path too soon it leaves you vulnerable and puts him in an awkward position if he’s not ready for that level of sharing.
Don’t live in the past, don’t bring up your ex’s they are bound to surface eventually. But even if they were you’re prince charming and you don’t think you should settle for less. Get to know this guy before you compare him!

Look I’m not an expert on this relationship stuff –so don’t quote me or take my advice to heart- in any sense of the word but I have been there, I’ve been dumped, been the dumper and had my heart broken, but I’ve gotten through it each time so you can too! If you need a something to help you get through a painful break-up or are just starting out a new relationship check out this song below but Jessie James it makes me happy and determined!

A little bit more magic...

Alright people stop what you’re doing and take a look at this magical product, Schwarzkopf Extra Care Deep Nutrition Intensive Nourishing Mask, it’s a miracle worker! I've had really bad split ends for a while now and have only just gone to get my hair cut (last night)! I came across this little beauty the other day at chemist warehouse; it was on sale so I thought I’d try it out!

I don't like to spend much money on all those expensive hair products, because I like to save my money for more important things like shoes!

This tube of bliss rrps for about $8.99. I’ve had it for about a month now and have only just scraped off the top layer, and I have really long hair! The application process it really simple too just wash your hair as normal - there is a matching shampoo and conditioner range but I don't bother- after conditioning and rinsing just apply to your damp/wet hair and leave it in for 1 minute. I normally run my fingers through it to loosen my hair up and then tie it up out of the way, its gives you the perfect amount of time to exfoliate or shave your legs. Then just rinse it off and you're done!
I would recommend this product to anyone with split ends or dull hair; it's worked a miracle on my hair!

H to the A R R Y P O T T E R!!!

Step onto platform 9 ¾ and join me on the Hogwarts express as we take a magical journey to the unknown...
I can't even express the words, i'm just so freaking excited! This new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer came out yesterday and it's even more exciting than the first, it's a little bit of a mish-mash of the 2 new films! Take a look below and if you like let me know just how excited you are!!

I'm booking the first session, to see it!!

I don't know how i'll be able to wait for the second half!

Have you read all the books, I have about 7 times each. I never used to understand how people could re-read book they've already read until I read Harry Potter. Now days the books relax me, if i'm feeling grumpy or upset all I need to do is whip out a Harry book.

Cloudburst

Look at my sexy new runners...

I love the colour description to...Silver Metallic - Cloudburst - Forever Blue...sounds like some kind of power puff girl!

I like to think that it helps to look good while running, it always makes me feel better!

So today I went and brought these little beauties from the Puma factory. $60 bucks the box said, walk up to the counter to pay only $45 bargin!
I love that feeling when you go up to the counter to pay for something and you're minds racing should I really buy this or not...do I really need it -In this case I did- and then you get called up next, the item gets scanned and it's way cheaper than what you thought you were going to have to pay...relief washes over you and you decided yes i'll defs get it...but then you kind of panic a little thinking maybe they scanned it wrong or are going to look at the box and see that not the actual price so you hurry the transaction and fumble with your cards...no maybe it's just me then!

Let the Creativity Flow...

Lately i've been pretty bored at work...until I stumbled on to a little piece of heaven by the name of Polyvore. If you're sitting there reading this wondering what Polyvore is, then you really should just hop on over and experience it for yourself.
Heres the quick down-low if you don't have the time or are maybe a little scared you'll become addicted like me! So it's a site which lets you mix and match items of clothing into “sets” you can pretty much play the role of a fashion designer.
Here a few of my "Sets" i've made...I must say I get a little buzz each time I get random comments from people!

Plus you can also enter competitions, or ask questions - I asked what I should wear to a summer music festival- where anyone can answer and give you a little bit of there own fashion wisdom.
It's really fantatsicly done!

One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill...is there really one tree on the hill??

This week my friend lent me Season 6 of One Tree Hill. There all meant to be about the same age as me, oh how we live different lives. Lets take a look Nathan and Haley, their happily married with Jamie his an NBA player and she's a teacher and a rock star...thats soo unfair where's my sexy NBA player...now don't even get me started on Brooke gee I hate her.

Sure it's a show, know one would watch it if it was less fictional but still all my friends have plans, they all know what they want to do with their lives weather it be Nursing, Teaching ect.

Then theres me who's not really doing anything but has all these big plans...I wan't to go to New York but first...I need money and where do you get money from...or right a job...which I don't have!!

So one promising thing did happen I joined a temp agency and boom I got a temp job for the next 2 weeks 10-2 sweet I thought...only I was there for three days and on that third day they waited till the end of the day to tell me that they'd hired a permanet girl and she can start right away so we won't need you anymore...grrr just when I thought I was going so well...and sure they said I was excellent that still doesn't help that I gave up my part time job for them...now i'm left with nothing and i'm back to where I started!!

Working . Class . Girl...

I've never had a blog before but I thought it was time to try something new and why not start with something small like a blog and build it up to what I really want right?

Working Class girl where did that come from well I thought why not start a blog in regards to life trying to find and job in the big wide world, especailly with the whole GFC and everything.
Soo lets just say I have bad luck finding jobs, the one time I found a good job I was on the other side of the world... and I think I used all my good luck up there.

I've had too many jobs to point a stick at i've worked as a "Schoolie" at a childcare center cleaning up dipers (yuck)...check-out chick...receptionist...sales assistant...nanny...coach...bar tender...camp leader (and there was no sing Jona's brother's at my camp just horses and 60 kids!)...waitress...model...event manager...and there's more except I'm having a mental block...or maybe i've just blocked the rest out...sure that doesn't seem like that many jobs but I'm only 21 thats gotta be some kind of record right...maybe i'll call the Gunniess World Record Book and see...so then I can add another job to my list World Record holder...

So that's why i've decided to write a blog which will follow me through the job hunting process the endless hours (ok now i'm starting to sound borinnggg..no i'll make it fun) of trying to find a job which will hopefully lead to THE job!
